Yesterday, I finally saw the Taj Mahal. It was very, very beautiful, and every hour of travelling to get there was worth it :))
It took me a 9-hour flight from Munich, Germany, with a 2.5-hour layover in Bahrain, followed by a 4-hour drive from New Delhi to Agra.
In Agra, don’t talk to random people. Most of the time, they will try to overcharge you for things. Also, if you’re not Indian, the Taj Mahal tickets will be more expensive than they are for Indian people.
Sadly, once you leave the Taj Mahal area, the city doesn’t look as beautiful anymore. The farther you get from the Taj Mahal, the dirtier the city seems to get. :(
