Where did Postcards and Magnets go?

Since late 2022, I’ve noticed that postcards and fridge magnets are much harder to come by especially postcards. I’ve since been to London, Hungary (Balaton and Budapest), Portugal (Lisbon and Algarve), Croatia, Indonesia (Bali and Gilis) Seoul, Osaka (Universal Studios), Kyoto, and Tokyo (Disneyland) and it’s like trying to find a needle in a haystack. I know, postcards are old school and fridge magnets are tacky, but that’s the two only things I’ve been buying as souvenirs since I was a small child and have been sending postcards to my nieces to tell them about my travels as I don’t see them a lot. Today I had to buy various pins/keychains at Universal Japan so I can transform them to Magnets, same for Seoul. It seems like the switch has been made to charms and bag tags… which makes me sad. Is it just me… or am I just looking at the wrong places? I go into pretty much every single souvenir shop in the hopes to find something… so I’m not sure if it’s really me.
