Hey everyone, me and my partner are trying to plan a week long trip for next spring and we're pretty set on doing an all-inclusive for the first time. We haven't looked for where to travel yet but we just want to relax, not have to think about every meal and drink, and enjoy a nice beach.
I've checked destinations within the carribean, europe, other local destinations too. The problem is every site and review seems to contradict the last one. One place will have amazing food reviews and then someone else says it was terrible. We're not looking for the super party vibe, more like a chill adults-only spot with good pools and decent entertainment.
Our budget is mid-range, I guess? Not trying to break the bank but willing as long as it's something that's actually worth it.
So for those of you who have done all-inclusives, which one was your favorite and why? Were there any hidden fees that surprised you? And does "all inclusive" usually include stuff like non-motorized watersports or other activities, or is that always a non-negotiable extra?
