This was my first time ever leaving the United States, and I even turned 18 during the trip. Out of everything I saw in Europe, this was my favorite part.
The views were unreal. It was like I stepped into a postcard. There is no photograph that could ever do it a complete justice.
As I was standing there, I kept thinking about how someone 100, or even 1,000 years ago could have stood in the same spot and felt the same sense of awe and wonder I was feeling.
One can stare at beautiful photos of mountains all day long, but nothing will ever live up to the feeling standing atop Stanserhorn and seeing the world below you.
