I’d like to share some photos I took in Verona during my trip through northern Italy.
It is such a beautiful and underrated city IMO. Of course, it’s famous for its connection to Romeo and Juliet, but there’s so much more to discover beyond that. Nice walkeable streets, lot of shops, the Arena and stunning views around the city.
One of the things I loved most is its location. It’s also a great base for exploring northern Italy, with several amazing destinations just a short trip away from the train station like Lake Garda, Venice, Padua, and Trento.
If you’re planning a trip through northern Italy, I definitely recommend adding Verona to your itinerary. You might be surprised by how much you’ll find here.
