I recently returned from a trip to the States, and I had the privilege of visiting two of my bucket-list national parks: Yosemite and Mount Rainier. The amazing weather and the lack of crowds made this an unforgettable experience.
Hiking through the granite cliffs of the Yosemite Valley to hiking through serene alpine scenery beneath Mount Rainier can really show how vastly different and beautiful nature can be.
Yosemite was everything I imagined! Towering granite cliffs and trails winding deep into the valley, every turn revealed a postcard-worthy moment. The only letdown was the waterfalls, which had almost dried up and weren't roaring like they were supposed to :(
Mount Rainier was a completely different kind of adventure! Endless forests, waterfalls, and lakes in every corner, fall colours, and most importantly, the mighty Rainier looming over everything. Clear skies + falls colors made it the most unreal hiking experience.
