My wife and I travel(fly) about 6-8 times a year on trips. We were talking with friends recently and we mentioned how we do not sit together when we fly. Our friends were super surprised. I explained that I prefer to pay for upgraded cabin seating and have offered to pay for my wife to sit in an upgraded cabin seat, but she refuses and thinks it is a waste of money but has no problem if I do it. Any other couples sit separately when flying? We have been doing it so long it didn't see odd to us.
