What is yours?
Mine was during a solo trip to Oman. I traveled there by bike and slept in a tent. During the long journey far from civilization, my bike broke down and I couldn't fix it myself. I was terrified because I was tired and running out of water.
Then a kind Omani man showed up. He drove and took me and my bike and let me stay with his family for the night. Wonderful people! In the morning, they helped me fix my bike! I'm moved just thinking about how kind and hospitable the people in Oman are.
I have many fond memories from other countries, but this one holds a special place in my heart.
