For me, I got my iPad stolen in Rio . It was in my backpack but I got a guy pointing a gun at me around 8pm near my hotel. He just got my backpack and ran. He didnt get my iPhone in my pocket.
Another- stupid tax in Rome. Machine to verify tickets isnt working. Back then I didnt know that you could and should write the time/date if so. I got fined.
