Hey all —
First time booking TAP out of Portugal, and our flight was cancelled 9 hours prior to departure. The weather conditions are clear, and it's quite warm the next few days. The "new flights" they proposed led to a broken 404 link so it wasn't even an option to accept. I ended up having to rebook for about 3.5x the original price to get back on time.
It seems like this isn't uncommon with this airline (should've checked before, but flights to Portugal were pretty limited in my area to begin with).
Has anyone had success requesting their $$$ back from them or should I skip that step and go straight to chargeback?
Would EU 261 cover a portion of this?
Thanks!
