Okay so I'm in a sticky situation right now. I had a flight from Budapest, Hungary to Doha, Qatar with a transit in Turkey (Turkish airlines). The wait time between the two flights was 1 hour and 15 minutes. The flight from Budapest to Istanbul was delayed for around 50 minutes. That obviously made me miss my connection flight to Qatar. Now I'm sitting here in Istanbul airport with my next flight to Doha 19.5 hours from now. I went to the customer care center, they gavee the new boarding pass and said although the airlines would provide me with free accomodation, I cannot enter the country since I don't have a visa. Therefore I have to spend the layover time in the airport. They're givinge a free meal voucher for every five hours spent in the airport. So now all I have are a backpack that's killing my shoulders and a fanny pack with all my travel documents. I'm extremely exhausted and want to sleep but I'm too nervous about the pickpockets or that sort of thing. I just wanted to vent, thanks for reading
