Slovenia advice

We're planning our next trip and Slovenia has come up as an option. We usually travel for about two weeks, and I'm seeing mixed opinions on whether that's too long to spend in Slovenia or if it fills out well.

For context, we've already visited Croatia (Zagreb, parts of the coast, and Plitvička Lakes), so we're not looking to repeat a similar experience.

We've considered adding Venice (never been), but from what we've heard, it may not be the best fit for us.

We're active, experienced travelers who enjoy walkable historic cities and hiking, though we may want to keep hiking a lighter this trip. (For reference in the past our hikes would be sometimes 12hrs round trip and would include mountain hikes)

Would two weeks in Slovenia feel stretched, or is it worth the time given our travel style?
