Rhodes, Greece

This year we visited Rhodes, the fourth-largest Greek island. It’s located near Turkey, so even in late September it’s pleasantly warm there, and you can still swim in the sea.

We visited the city of Rhodes, where one of the ancient Wonders of the World, the Colossus of Rhodes, once stood. The Grand Masters’ Castle towers over the city, offering a beautiful view of the harbor and the city.

Our next stop was the town of Lindos, full of shops and narrow streets where it’s easy to lose track of time and direction. Above it stands the Acropolis, offering a breathtaking view of the town and St. Paul’s Bay, home to one of the island’s most famous beaches
