About a year ago I went to Louisiana for the first time. I had work in the Florida parish. I refused to miss the opportunity to visit the French quarter and burban street. I went with a coworker who was a resident. I've been told with good measure to not go alone and to be on guard. The food was amazing, and my buddy told me we went to an okay spot. Baffling to think there was a better spot. We walked to most places. Went to the museum of death, but I wasn't thrilled at that. It was underwhelming. After that we went to Jackson square, the Joan of Arc Monument, and the U.S. oldest bar. I would 100% go back and try to visit more while there.
