My Favourite Hiking Trails So Far Thought Id Share Some Pics
A small collection of treks that gave me sore legs and a clearer mind. 😄
Honestly, hiking is the best reset button I know. Sharing some of my favourite moments here... and always open to new trail ideas!
- Dolomites (Italy): I spent 2 weeks in August 2025 in that area, based in Merano and Bressanone, and did many day hikes in the mountains. All of them were stunning.
- The Lighthouse Way (Spain): A 200 km hiking route in Galicia, linking Malpica and Finisterre along the coastline. I only did one stage, from Arou to Camariñas, and without a doubt it was one of the nicest treks I’ve done so far. The photo is of Vilán Lighthouse.
- Via degli Dei (Italy): A 130 km route from Bologna to Florence, crossing the Tuscan–Emilian Apennines. The picture was taken in Monte Adone. I did it in 6 days, but I think 5 would also be enough.
- Path of the Heart (Italy): A short trail with striking views of the heart-shaped lake of Scanno, in the Abruzzo region.
- Rocca Calascio (Italy): A small but beautiful trek in Abruzzo. I hiked it from Santo Stefano di Sessanio.
- Via Francigena: Over 3,000 km from Canterbury to Rome and Santa Maria di Leuca. I’ve done many stages in Italy, in the regions of Aosta Valley, Piedmont, Lombardy and Liguria. The pictures is in the area of Vercelli.
My next hike will be four more stages of the Via Francigena in Tuscany, from San Miniato to Siena. Can’t wait!
Any recommendations for nice hikes? I’m all ears :)
