Just got back from a week in the Maldives. This was a trip my husband wanted to take, I dont enjoy sunbathing or swimming so I wasn't so keen but the place was amazing. We stayed at Cinnamon Velufushi an hour and a half from the airport by speedboat. My conditions for agreeing to the trip were 1) Robinson Crusoe feeling.....I didn't want to see lots of boats or other islands with resorts on ✔️. 2) it had to be an over water room ✔️
Sunrise villas were best as they got more sun throughout the day. The people were all so happy, friendly and welcoming. Great food and so very, very quiet and relaxing
