Madagascar : a dying Eden.
Here are a few photos from this amazing land of biodiversity which has consistently ranked among the top ten poorest nations in the world. It is a dying Eden with many species on the verge of extinction, due to loss of habitat, corruption, superstition, repeated natural disasters and lack of responsible tourism due to misconception about safety and infrastructure.
Madagascar needs you. It's not for casual travellers but the returns are fantastic. I'll never forget the haunting call of the Indri, floating over the rainforest or watching the sunset over the Avenue des Baobabs. We even explored the drains for the spectacular Tomato frogs.
