Has anyone else noticed how awful Lonely Planet has gotten? The layout, information, and literature is just simply sloppy.
I’ve been skimming through about 40 pages of the newest edition of the East Africa book that was published November 2023 and have found so many typos and grammatical error; as if half of it was written on a smartphone and no one thought to use spell check.
The information also seems to be thrown in randomly and is lacking the detailed structure of the past books with grand itineraries and excellent recommendations.
How does such a large, reputable company that’s literally just updating their successful books allow this subpar publishing?
