Over the past 2 months, I’ve traveled to the UK, Spain, Vietnam, and Thailand.
Every destination has its own charm, and this isn’t about criticizing any of those countries.
But as a tourist, watching other tourists, I’ve realized the quality of tourists varies massively depending on where you go..
To be honest, a lot of the people who travel to Vietnam or Thailand are a mess.
Those destinations have gotten cheaper, and because they’re cheap, they attract a certain type of traveler.
Passport bros, people who are unbelievably rude to locals, acting like they’re somehow superior,
who behave in ways they would never dare to in their own countries.
(1. I was looking around a clothing shop when a tourist suddenly took their shirt off right there and tried on another top in the middle of the store...I really don’t want to see your body..)
People yelling loudly, lying down on public benches, and walking around shirtless… I honestly can’t stand it especially when they come from my country
