Greece - June/July 2026

Hi everyone!

Just did an amazing trip to Greece during July and June of this year. I had the opportunity to work at an archaeological escavation in Antiparos and after I decided to explore the country.

My itinerary was:

São Paulo - Athens - Paros - Antiparos - Paros - Santorini - Athens - Hosios Loukas - Delphi - Meteora - Termopylae - Thebes - Nafplio - Mycenae - Corinth - Epidaurus - Mystras - Sparta - Olympia - Athens

I’ve used as a base: Athens, Paros, Antiparos (for the escavation), Santorini, Athens, Meteora, Nafplio and Olympia.

If you love history and culture I recommend al of this places. They are amazing and well-preserved. Prices are usually not low, but the mainland is cheaper than the islands. I have not visited the museums of Corinth and Sparta, because of lack of time.

In Epidaurus I saw an ancient greek play “The Persians” in the ancient theater. The sensation and the experience were thrilling. Every summer they do this type of event and I can’t recommend enough.
