Goa in august

Visited Goa in August and experienced it a bit differently this time.

Instead of focusing on beaches and parties, we spent more time exploring cafes, small art spaces, museums, and just walking around. I’m not saying this side of Goa is hidden, but it’s something I hadn’t really paid attention to on earlier trips.

North Goa felt quieter during monsoon. Less traffic, fewer crowds, no rushing from one place to another. We had slow mornings at cafés and took our time everywhere.

Stopped by Artjuna Cafe, which was still lively despite the rains. Also went to Goya one evening good music and a decent crowd, just more manageable than peak season.

Swimming wasn’t really possible because of rough tides, and plans depended a lot on the weather. But overall, the trip felt more relaxed than my previous visits.

Has anyone else visited Goa during monsoon and felt the same, or was your experience completely different?
