First time in Europe, First Time Solo In Scotland

Fell for the solo trip propaganda and it absolutely worked on me. Had an amazing time being able to go at my own pace, do what I want, chat with fun locals and met some incredible fellow solo travelers from around the world. This provided a great gateway into solo traveling as someone from US, as it provided enough culture shock that you want on a solo adventure, while never getting too alienating or overwhelmingly. The mix of old European city feel, a big city with more of an authentic edge and the towns and nature of the highlands perfectly catered to my interests.

Spent time in Edinburgh, Glasgow, Isle of Skye and The Highlands.

All I can think about since getting back is where am I going next.
