Hey guys, just came back from a long trip in Asia. Had a few days in Singapore and it's such a cool place! So much to do and see in a such acompact place. Loved how the city blends it's history with it's old buildings against its modern skyscrapers. Oh and the food was so good, the hawker centers were such a cheap and convenient way to try all of the cultures' foods that reside in Singapore. It was refreshing to be in a place where the people respected it's public rules and you could use your bag as a placeholder to reserve a seat at the hawker centers.
I know Singapore has it's reputation as being this ultra expensive place to live but at least as a tourist, it's quite affordable. Hotels weren't that expensive, food was really cheap, and transportation was also on the cheaper side. My only gripe is that since it sits right next to the equator, it was hot and humid. I should've bought a little portable fan to carry with me the whole time because that jungle humidity is something else lol.
