I traveled to Scotland to attend Florence + The Machine show in Glasgow, decided to make the most of the trip and explore the country.
First 10 pics were taken throughout a 3 day guided tour around the Highlands. We explored Loch Lomond, many different spots on Isle of Skye, Glencoe and Loch Ness.
Pics 11-14 are in Glasgow. Didn't have many expectations but honestly I loved the city. It's very lively.
Pics 15-18 is Edinburgh. A very cold few days but still very enjoyable, I fell in love with the city.
I found the trip to be not as expensive as I expected it to be, at this time of year. I usually stay in cheaper hostels/b&bs but this time I decided to splurge a bit on better hotels since I found them to be very cheap for the quality.
Also, I'm usually all for exploring at my own pace but I'm really happy with the decision of booking a guided tour. It was led by a local who gave me a lot of insight on Scotland's history and culture. Plus didn't have to stress driving on the "wrong" side of the road on poor weather.
Regarding food, I'm vegan and it was extremely easy to find vegan restaurants or places who offered vegan options. (Eating out can get expensive real fast, so I combined it with some meal deals lol).
