I’m in a very stressful situation and looking for some advice or similar experiences.
I applied for my ESTA on Friday at 5:30 PM (CET). I applied for 4 people separately (family trip). The first 3 applications were approved almost instantly, but my mother's (the 4th one) has been stuck on "Authorization Pending" for over 40 hours now.
Here are the details:
• Submitted: Friday, 5:30 PM CET
• Status: Authorization Pending
• Flight departs: Monday, 4:30 AM (in less than 20 hours)
• Airline: Condor
My questions:
Has anyone had their ESTA approved on a Sunday (U.S. time)?
Does the CBP Traveler Communications Center actually process manual reviews on Sundays?
Should I try calling them as soon as they open at 8:30 AM today?
Any advice or reassurance would be greatly appreciated!
