I am staying in Calabria in a beautiful small town. It is my second time here this year and I feel like i found a home away from home!
Being from two major cities in the US I am loving the pace, the kindness, the night skies. I feel lucky to have a group of other travelers in this & neighboring towns that helps with social life including meeting locals. Especially being a solo woman.
I even had a medical emergency in public, and I know back home I would’ve gotten way different treatment but you can tell how genuinely kind the townspeople are from a situation like that.
I hope to keeping exploring the country in the future and traveling my life away 😆
