Hello everyone,
Malta has surprised me in a good way. I completely understand that it has its issues, but that doesn't take away from how much I enjoy spending time on these islands.
Coming from Brazil, what excites me the most is how easy it is to get around. Being a small archipelago, I can travel short distances and, within minutes, find myself in a quiet village with few tourists, enjoying a more local atmosphere. I can go on hikes, spend time by the sea, and explore different parts of the islands without needing to travel far.
What I still love most is that every corner or alleyway seems to offer something new. Sometimes there's something happening; other times there's nothing happening at all. Either way, it gives me a sense of discovery and novelty that keeps me exploring.
Despite its flaws, Malta continues to surprise me, and I enjoy every visit more than the last.
