Hi everyone! I was thinking of visiting Argentina next month and spending a few weeks in Bariloche, El Chalten, etc, as I am really missing the mountains and craving some good hiking! I know Patagonia is not known to be a cheap destination. Regardless of where I go, I am a pretty frugal traveller. Limited tours, limited restaurants and I rely on public transit.
I'm doing some more research and maybe Argentina as a whole is more expensive than I expected it would be! I am starting to rethink this destination and if it would be better to do another time. Can anyone tell me about recent Argentina prices? Or recommendations?
