Amsterdam was one of the places that I've wanted to go to for years, due to it's urbanism and general architecture. I love travelling via public transit and as a railfan, I enjoy looking at the rolling stock that foreign countries have. As an American, we don't have great urbanism everywhere so seeing Amsterdam's vibrant urbanism was refreshing.

#1 Royal Palace Amsterdam
Converted from a city hall by Napoleon's brother, the interior is literal eyecandy. The interior has many rooms, and the royal family visits often. There's scaffolding since they're doing work on it
#2: Interior of a tram
Amsterdam has a very extensive and impressive tram network that criscrosses the city and extends beyond. I took it multiple times, its frequent and fast, runs every few minutes.
#3: Centraal Station
I love this station, it's beautiful and has many train lines, i took this from Schiphol multiple times. There are multiple shops and souveneir stores and an Albert Heijn to go in the station (I love Albert Heijn). The surrounding area is pedestrianized, and there are multiple bicycle parking lots.
#4: Oude Kerk
This was my favorite of my itinerary. Me and my family went in and there were preserved and restored icons from when it was a Catholic church. Also, the gravestones date back to the 13th century. Thousands of people were buried here.
This is a snippet, so I did way more during this trip.
I hope London has the same flare, but we'll see in 2028.
