Me and my friend were talking about the travel in Australia and our jobs recently and I was reminded of something that happened years ago.
I used to work at a restaurant in Australia and Americans when they visited would try to tip us my manager was always around and listening so I could never say no I’d say “tipping isn’t really a thing here” and you guys would insist on it. I just wanna let you know any tips you tried to give me were taken by the manager I never saw those tips ever and the manager used them for personal stuff. so please when your visiting restaurants if the person serving you try’s to tell u not to tip theirs always a reason for it.
