I was flying from London to New York on a cramped BA flight (around 8 hours).
When I reclined my seat, the lady behind me started protesting and said that I was being inconsiderate. Again, to reiterate - really cramped flight.
I explained to her that as it was an overnight flight, I had every right to recline my seat. She became quite rude, started speaking loudly about me and even called the flight attendant - who rightfully told her that I was right.
After that, she started banging her knees into my seat repeatedly for the rest of the flight.
I did not recline during meal times and I never slammed the seat back - just used it normally.
AITA for reclining my seat normally in this situation?
