5 days in Portugal

We spent 5 days in Lisbon, including a one-day trip to Sintra. On the first day, we simply enjoyed ourselves at Praça do Comércio and got lost in the little streets full of wonderful restaurants and bars.

On the second day, we visited Castelo de São Jorge, Lisbon Cathedral, and took a ride on the iconic Tram 28. We had lunch, explored the Bairro Alto district, and enjoyed walking around with a few cocktails and beers ;)

The third day was reserved for Sintra: first, at 10 a.m., we visited Quinta da Regaleira, followed by Pena Palace and its park. We took the train from Lisbon to Sintra, and once there, we got around by taxi. We had bought the tickets in advance. We also wanted to visit Cabo da Roca, but we didn’t have the energy anymore, and besides, we have to leave something for next time.

On the fourth day, we visited Jerónimos Monastery, Belém Tower, the 25 de Abril Bridge, and Christ the King.

On the fifth day, we enjoyed breakfast, took a walk around Rossio Square, and went home in the afternoon.

Lisbon is absolutely beautiful; the food is delicious, the city is colorful and vibrant, and I will remember it for a long time.
