4 days travel in Stockholm, Sweden. Including Drottningholm Palace and the archipelago

I went on this 4 days trip to Sweden in August this year. Swedish summer is very special and with the increasing hot termperatures in Southern Europe I found it much more comfortable, although it did rain a bit.

Not my first time in the city, so I was quite familiar where to go, but still enjoyed it as much as my first visit.

I mostly just strolled around since I have been to many museums before, but I did go to the Swedish History Museum, where I got a guided rour, which was far more cheaper and fun then the overtouristy Viking Museum in Djurgården, so I recommend to go there instead or if you are really interested in this, then do both.

I also visited Drottningholm Palace, which I highly recommend and also the guided tour there is really worth it.

Another favourite thing of mine to do in Sweden is to go to the caffes and enjoy some drip coffee (Bryggkaffe in Swedish, it is usually a refill so perfect if you want to enjoy the caffes for a longer time), and some cinammon buns or even bettee cardamon buns.

Mostly used public transportation and saved money on buying food from 7-eleven and Pressbyrån. But ofc I spent some money on the bakeries there. With buying bryggkafe as it is usuall the cheapest option and refill you can save some money.

The pic with the bird is from Ivar Lo's park, popular viewpoint so might get crowded and bring a blanket to sit down on.

Stockholm is a city with a very unique charm, eventhough it has similarities with other nordic cities. It is definietly a very fun travel destination especially if you like this nordic lifestyle.
