I decided to split off from my friends in Seoul and do 36 hours in Busan and it was AMAZING.
I was hesitant because I was still freezing temperatures and a beach city, but Busan had so much to offer.
Mainly I wanted to say that I did the train to Busan and didn’t have much of an itinerary, however, I think I was able to fit a lot in 36h.
They sold out of the iconic sky capsule which was my one bucket list item unfortunately.
But here is everything I did in one day!
Arrived @7am, dropped luggage at hotel and went straight to Gamcheon Culture Village. Completed the 2 hour self guided walking tour and got all the stamps! At lunch then went to ride the Songdo cable car. Got great views then hiked around the mountain for a little bit.
Took a taxi back to the hotel, checked in, took a nap, grabbed some snacks and watched the sunset on the beach. then went to Haeundae market for real dinner then went to sleep.
early the next day, checked out and had the hotel hold my luggage. I went to gwangalli beach to watch the sunset rising and then went to haedong yonggungsa temple. snacked and walked around then went back to haeundae beach. shopped, ate, and did some coin karaoke before grabbing my bag and sitting at the beach for some sunset around 5pm before going to the airport.
It doesnt seem like a lot but it was so much fun just roaming around and taking in the chill beach city. highly recommend and will be going back!
