A bit of a late post, but in June me and the whole family took a trip to Hawaii. Starting in Oahu we spent time exploring Honolulu as well as getting a full island tour. During the winter months the waves get absolutely huge on the north shore but unfortunately we weren’t there for that window. We also took a sunset cruise which was awesome with the sunset. Then we headed to Maui for over half of the trip exploring the road to Hana as well as searching for turtles at the beach near our rental property. Overall amazing time and would love to go back to see at least the big island. If you do go I would highly recommend getting tours that focus on local experiences in cultures. One of my tour guide grew up on Maui and shared a lot about their culture that’s slowly disappearing with the increased tourism. Happy to answer any questions!!!
